# Coinbase Clearing Connectivity

## Environments

Coinbase Clearing operates the following environments:

* Sandbox
* Production

The Sandbox is the test environment for Coinbase Clearing. It is hosted in AWS `us-east-1` across two availability zones and is reachable over the internet only: there is no cross connect, AWS PrivateLink, FIX, SBE, or UDP multicast connectivity. Sandbox data is test data only.

Production is hosted in AWS `us-east-1` and is reachable over the internet. Production connectivity is in progress; the details below are planned and may change before go-live.

## Clearing Portal

### Sandbox Environment

Clearing members access the sandbox through the clearing portal:

* TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 are accepted at the CDN edge.
