What is Payments MCP?
Payments MCP is an MCP server & companion wallet app that combines wallets, onramps, and payments via x402 into a single solution for agentic commerce. It enables AI agents to autonomously discover and pay for services without API keys, complex seed phrases, or manual intervention.Who is this for?

How does it work?
- Install: Run
npx @coinbase/payments-mcp - Sign in: Authenticate with email/OTP (creates embedded wallet)
- Add funds: Use Coinbase Onramp to add USDC
- Start using: Your agent can now discover and pay for services automatically
- Discover news, crypto data, and token info services
- Pay for API calls with USDC
- Return a report based on premium data
