Staking SOL with Keystore File on SolFlare

1. Create a Wallet

1. Navigate to the SolFlare UI and select Access.
2. Click Create a Wallet.
3. Select the Using Keystore File tab and click Next.
4. Create and enter your password twice and click Next. Be sure to save it somewhere safe offline.
5. Download your Keystore File and put it somewhere secure and click Next. You will not be able to access your wallet without it.

6. Upload your Keystore File to verify it downloaded correctly and click Finish.

2. Access your Wallet

1. Navigate to the SolFlare UI and click Access.
2. Enter your password.
3. Upload your Keystore File and click Access.

3. Transfer SOL to your Wallet

1. Copy the address that shows under Your Address in the SolFlare UI.
2. Visit the exchange or wallet where your SOL was purchased/stored, and send your SOL from where it was purchased to the wallet address copied above. After waiting the network processing time, your SOL balance should show at the top of the SolFlare wallet extension when opened.

4. Create a Stake Account

1. Click Get Started at the bottom of the SolFlare UI.
2. Enter the amount of SOL you would like to stake and click Next. Leave at least 1 SOL in your wallet to cover transaction fees.
3. Fill in your password.

5. Stake your SOL to our Public Validator

1. Select the Staking tab at the top of the SolFlare UI.
2. Click Delegate Now for your staking account.
3. Select Bison Trails’ validator beeTKGBheSPHzYBfZXqp55o7wdQGXeruJZHCaHSuTar and click Next.
4. Fill in your password and click Confirm. Wait until a “Transaction complete!” message appears.
